Should I do what I want or something sensible with my life?

I'm majoring in nursing. I'm not motivated because I have no real desire to be a nurse. There's nothing I really wanted to major in. I don't sing but I wish I had the ability. I can't dance. I don't write songs. I just love music and I'm not musically talented. I don't know what options I have. I was thinking maybe something at a record label but those jobs are impossible to get. I'm not even a fan of a lot of current music. I write a little. In a journal mostly. I can't see myself at rolling stone or anything. I probably wouldn't make it into the magazine and I'm not a huge fan. Not when they put the Jonas Brothers on the cover. A professor of mine really thought I had a gift but I don't know if I still have it and I don't know if it's good enough. I want to spend my life doing something I actually love and this is it for me. I'm trying to make myself happy and take the advice I was given by yahoo answers users about doing what's right for me. I'm trying to figure it out.
