I would like to see how many of you find yourself broke before your next paycheck because of the cost of living. What are the bills you hate paying most, or find yourself behind on? And how many hours do you work a week? Thank you :-)

No, thankfully we are not broke because of the cost of living. We happen to be broke because of a difficult pregnancy and a long maternity leave, but we will catch up eventually...My husband and I both work in Public Service, union positions, and in jobs that will always be needed (law enforcement and healthcare). I don't find myself having the problem. I learned very early when i first ever moved out how to live within my means. I work a 40+ hour a week job. I even had a time a few years back where i had 2 jobs and was working 60-70 hours a week. Rent shouldn't be more than 1/3 your monthly income, and remember not to spend... More
