How can anyone including himself, say that John McCain supports our troops?

The following are indisputable facts. Please tell me how anyone can really believe that he cares about our troops after reading these and the many, many more examples that can be found at the links provided below. Be honest, how? Veterans Groups Give McCain Failing Grades. In its most recent legislative ratings, the non-partisan Disabled American Veterans gave Sen. McCain a 20 PERCENT GRADE ON HIS VOTING RECORD ON VETERANS ISSUES. 20%!. Similarly, the non-partisan Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America gave McCain a "D" grade for his poor voting record on veterans' issues, including McCain's votes against additional BODY ARMOR FOR TROOPS. McCain Opposed the 21st Century GI Bill Because It Was Too Generous. McCain Voted Against Increased Funding for Veterans' Health Care. McCain Voted At Least 28 Times Against Veterans' Benefits, Including Healthcare. McCain Voted Against Providing Automatic Cost-of-Living Adjustments McCain Voted to Underfund Department of Veterans Affairs. McCain Voted Against a $13 Billion Increase in Funding for Veterans Programs. McCain Voted Against $44.3 Billion for Veterans Programs. McCain Voted Against $47 Billion for the Department of Veterans Affairs. McCain Opposed $500 Million for Counseling Services for Veterans with Mental Disorders. McCain Voted Against Adding More Than $400 Million for Veterans' Care. McCain Supported Outsourcing VA Jobs. McCain voted Against Establishing a $1 Billion Trust Fund for Military Health Facilities. McCain said it's "not too important" when U.S. troops leave Iraq. I would never entrust my sons to this lunatic. Would you? Not as a Repulican or Democrat, just on this one single issue, would you trust him with your children if you had a choice?

Assuming your facts are correct, I'm sure McCain has a very good reason why he voted against those bills. Democrats probably tried slapping a time-line on them or something.

I am currently in the Army (17+ years) and I would be proud to serve with John McCain as our Commander in Chief.
