treatment for borderline personality disorder and Cyclothymia? Please please help...please?

Are these similar disorders? Are they treated the same? What are medications given for these? You see, I have been diagnised with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, but the SSRIs were making me worse. Now the P doctor thinks I may have Cyclothymia and is talking about Rxing Lamictal for me. I have been researching and I have come across Borderline Personality Disorder and that really fits me :( If I take the Lamictal will that help me no matter which one I have? I have the irrational fears of being abandoned, and relationship troubles characterized in BPD. I also have rapid mood swings. I am becoming a mess and I need to stop this. I am kinda afraid to tell my P doctor that I think I might have Borderline Personality Disorder because she gives me the feeling that I am trying to Dx myself, which I am not, really, I just know that the Generalized Anxiety Disorder treatments do not see m to be helping all of my symptoms. Please help? Will Lamictal work for Borderline Personality Disorder? I am 27 years old.
