will an electronic career in the air force transfer to a good civilian career?

im an automotive technician thinking about joining the air force. I have a good understanding of electronics and electronic diag. So what would be a good career in the air force that will help me get a good job after my 4 years are up? that is if i decide to get out.

Radar and/or Electronic Warfare maintenance/ops are always in high demand. Avionics Mx is a demand career, but frankly doesn't pay as well as the previous two. Also you'll get a Secret clearance to start, and if you start working in say, national technical means, a TS by the time you separate. That also translates... More

The best job in the Air Force is PMEL where you calibrate all kinds of equipment. Back in my time it was a 6 year enlistment. I didn't score high enough on the electronics part of the test so became a aircraft mechanic. It sucked bigtime. I was glad to get out after 4 years. Another good job is loadmaster if you like...
