The real question?
How badly, will the US economy, and the job market take a beating, when the socialists win?
Look, even now, rich people, and for that matter, anyone with more than $250,000 in annual income, are moving their assets to offshore accounts.
Why? To protect against the possibility of increases in capitol gains taxes, and for that matter, increases in income taxes.
Corporations, are for the most part, multinational, and to keep their earnings, many CEOs, will just get paid in other currency, to keep their income safe from the socialist leanings and intentions of the democrats.
How will this support Universal Health Care?
It won't.
The tab for the massive 1.4 trillion dollar annual cost of this program, will have to be paid by the John smiths, and Mary Kays of the US, in the form of a tax increase of at least $30,000 dollars a year.
Of course, people who have been groomed to feel entitled to things they haven't earned, through decades of disgusting socialist policies, HUD, welfare, food stamps etc., look at it, as though they will get an even bigger windfall of benefits, that they actually think they deserve, just because they exist.
The United States, is turning from the principle of the founding fathers-life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, to a new mantra,
life, economic stifling, and the right to everything!
What stupid democrats, fail to realize, is this, socialism, does not work.
Once you foist more socialist policies upon the hard working people, so that the lazy can enjoy the American dream, without the efforts that make the American dream, what it is, you kill any and all motivation to try.
Why should I be a competent person, when it has been legislated, that I am entitled to everything, just because I exist?
Why would anyone try?
Why would any entrepreneur, hang out their shingle, in a market that makes him, as the creative force, the innovative force, the enemy, just because he has a good idea?
Many of you here, would benefit by reading the book "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand.
It drives home the point, of the lunacy, of socialism, and that without the rich people, without the people who develop the innovative things, that make life better, you have nothing, but a third world morass.
