My resume reflects someone who could be 40+ but I look like I am 25. Could this be killing the interview?

I have all the skills, but even after cutting my hair, etc. I still look 25. I have tried everything to look older but to no avail. I think when they see me in the interview, they immediately assess I am too young. I am 34. I am applying for bookkeeper or controller jobs, but my husband says I look too young for those positions. I have 13+ years exp and an accounting degree. What else can I do?
