Can you please ask a bit more detailed? I hope you are not serious about taking a job as a MD for Dhs 10K inclusive? Even as a basic pay this kind of salary is a joke for a MD. Let me give some examples from the company I used to work for: assistant manager = Dhs 16K, accountant = Dhs 12K, receptionist = Dhs 5K and the coffee boy received Dhs 3 K. And we all received housing allowance as an extra. For a 2 bedroom appartment in Abu Dhabi City you have to calculate a yearly rent between Dhs 100k - Dhs 150K. On the outskirt of Abu Dhabi accommodation was a little cheaper, but the rents are getting higher almost daily. For utilities you may need Dhs 150 - Dhs 300 monthly depending on your usage of elecricity and water. Flat rate for Internet is Dhs 250 monthly and phone calls from landline to landline within Abu Dhabi are for free. If you go grocery shopping you can decide buying local or from India, KSA, Oman, Syria and Jordan imported goods which are much cheaper than goods imported from Europe, the USA or Canada. Buying meat/chicken you can choose between local, Indian and Egypt which is cheaper than the meat imported from Brazil and New Zealand. The amount of money you'll spend grocery shopping will depend on where you buy what. If you go out for lunch, you can start at a price of Dhs 18 at Madinat Zayeed Shopping Centre. Close by at the Ponderosa Steakhouse you'll find a buffet for Dhs 40 all you can eat. Dining out in Restaurants attached to Hotels where it's possible to consume alcohol, the prices are regarding European standart. Housing allowance: In the Gulf States it's necessary to negotiate a "salary package" which means: basic salary, housing allowance and transportation as a minimum. If these costs are included in a lump sum, make sure that it will cover the rent. The rent should not be more than 1/3 of the salary. If you have to pay rent on your own from Dhs 10K, you might be left with only Dhs 5K for living. That will not be enough for a couple to live a suitable live in the UAE. Do you mean AED (Dirhams)? If so then 10000 a month is not alot especially when you consider housing - my house costs me 12000 a month alone and thats not even in the centre of abu dhabi. 	How do I get a job with Dodgy work history and no experience? Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university.
