What are McCain and Palin calling their philosophy of government?

McCain/Palin are denouncing the "socialism" of Americans wanting housing, education, jobs, and healthcare, while saying that we all should guarantee the risk-taking investments of the rich and war profiteering. Is that the same old "trickle-down economics" philosophy long since dismissed by the Republican mainstream or should it now be called something new?

A vote for McCain is a wasted vote, but I wouldn't vote for Obama either.
