Is Captain Gordon Brown going to go down with the ship?

Is Gordon Brown and his First Officer Alistair Darling, going to go down with the ship HMS Great Britain, into the murky oceanic depths of recession? Or do they have an action plan to steer us away from the economic disaster iceburg we are approaching at flank speed?

When there are nice juicy shore jobs waiting for them in the European Union? Not on your nelly. They'll abandon ship well before it hits the rocks.

I just wish the Tories would tell us what they would do. So we can tell if Labour are genuinely incompetent or whether Dave is the towering intellect folks seem to assume. In the interests of fairness obviously ;-)

I wouldn't say they take the HMS Great Britain down with them but rather they just get thrown overboard (along with their labour crew) by Captain Cameron!

No. Scum floats to the top.

No, they won't go down with the ship - rats always desert a sinking ship!

I suspect he will be the only person with a life-belt.

Blubber floats unfortunately. Unless of course we shove lead round their ankles. They are good at dragging their heels so weigh em down !

For the good either of these two renegades are doing they should be, Put in a long boat & set adrift like Captain Bligh. Or, Made to walk the plank, in shark infested waters Or ,Hoisted to the Yardarm, after feeling the sting of the Cat of nine tails !

When the ship goes down the Captain and First officer will fight the rats to be first off. They will of course save the booty bag for themselves. Everyone else will be wearing lead boots.
