Can someone please help me with my friend/making new ones?
First of all, I really only have 1-3 friends. Second of all, one of my friends is doing things that are getting me into trouble, and I am starting to dislike him. We have similar interests, he just carries them out differently then me, and it sometimes ends up with me getting in trouble. Both me and my parents are worried he will do something illegal maybe in a few years and carry me into it, because we both agree he is slightly edged toward that path. I kinda don't want to not be his friend, because he is one of my only methods of meeting new people and he was my best friend for a few years. Yet, I don't want to get into serious trouble. I doubt i can change him. Please can you give tips on what to do, especially in making new friends. I do have classes with a few nice people, but for the most part, they have already formed social groups, and although i am trying to join their social group, it has been really hard. My mom forces me to sit in the front of the room, and most of the nice kids sit in the back. Also, a lot of things I am interested in my mom doesn't let me do (like air soft) which is not helping at all. I need help. i am kinda a nerd durring school hours so i can get good grades, but after class, i loosen up a little. also, I have a brother that follows me around a lot and asks me really annoying and embarassing questions while i try to make new friends PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another thing is my mom makes sure my life is centered around work, and pushes it on me that if i dont do well in high school and i don't do well in college, i wont get a good job. This, combined with the fact that i am slightly ADD, a procrastenator, and a profectionist, causes homework to take me hours, so I never have time to hang out with friends very much. PLEASE HELP!!! I am getting very lonely and depressed. I didn't know where to turn, and my parents will either freak out and overreact about this (which will make me look worse) or will underreact and say that as long as I get good grades, Ill be fine, and I'll never see these people again after high school. THE PROBLEM IS GETTING THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL!! IT IS GETTING TO BE A MISERABLE EXPERIENCE WITHOUT FRIENDS!!! HELP ME!!!! :-( :-( :-( I don't want him to find out who I am, but one thing he did last time I was over was watch/show me porn on this website while I was over and trying to play with him
