Is teaching dyslexic people how to read fluently really a job?

When i get a job i want to be a person who teaches dyslexic young people how to read. i want to do this because i love reading and i want every one to be able to enjoy books to the full! However is this a job?

You could become a 'learning disabilities specialist'. Advanced teacher training is involved. There are many centers in north America that deal in this field. Just a little back ground for you as it is not a straight forward field in teaching... More

It wouldn't be your only part of your job, but look into learning disabilities teacher (special education) or a literacy teacher.

yes, you may e a special ed teacher--or reading specialist--some areas do specifically have dyslexia tutors--this is common in provate clinics--you will use alternative reading programs such as orton gillingham/wilson
