Where can I find the regulations that a GAL must follow in evaluating a custody suit?
Where can I find the regulations that a GAL must follow in evaluating a custody suit? How many times are they supposed to visit the child? Does he go to the school and talk to the teachers? I am looking for specific national or state guidelines. I don't believe my Custody Evaluator has done his job. Who do I go to to complain?

they have to see the kid once every 6 months and they are not required to go to the school or talk to teachers.

Our son's GAL was supposed to see him every 6 months but sadly in 2 1/2 years the GAL was only in our home twice.
