What constitutes a hostile work environment?

The place that my husband and I work at has recently suffered a major finical loss. About a month ago the boss started calling my husband and telling him that if he does not buy the business that we will both be out of a job. It started out that he was calling him twice a month, now it is up to twice a week...sometimes several times in one day. We can't just up and quit and the jobs in our profession are few and far between. This guy just does not understand why we can not get a loan and why I refuse to buy a business and move from a nice home into an apartment in a bad neighborhood. Any ideas?

This is illegal!! you need to report him to the Dept of Labor. Or you should look for employment elsewhere, which I strongly suggest because this man is not going to let up!
