Could somebody help with my pops' resume?

He once worked as a truck driver & hopes to get the same job again (or any other driving job). Thus, I'm working on his resume & I just like to know if this paragraph sounds good in his Work Experience section: -Maintained company’s success as well as salary, by traveling long distances to deliver freights nationwide. If anybody has anything better that is much shorter, I would really appreciate if you told me.

Contributions to the success of the company included successful protracted assignments within the continental U.S. HR people also like to see numbers and measurable successes. You may also want to include figures such as distances, value of product, times, etc. Best of luck to your dad!

Try something like; - Per stability of company traveled nationwide with delivery of freights. The first portion "Maintained company’s success as well as salary" sounds cocky I guess try to rephrase it :)

The words "as well as salary" sounds unique. What does it mean? Do you think that could be deleted?
