Your opinion on how my extracuriculars look? Do I need more activities?
Here is what I have so far (continuous, not one time things): National German Honor Society National Honor Society AP scholar Barrington Area Council on Aging Youth Board (Various volunteer things including serving the community and its elders) Best of BHS pride (BHS being my school, about 30 out of 3000 students nominated and chosen who represent the core pillars of our schools values, courage, accountability, respect, and involvement) Work at a preschool Tutor a student once a week (for volunteer hours, chem honors is the subject) Some Extra's Include: Star Tutor freshman year Volunteer library freshman summer Badminton freshman year (the reason I have all of this extra stuff freshman year is because I was experimenting with what I am interested in and the main items listed above are things that I'm mostly involved with and dedicated to) Also my GPA is at about 4.0 weighted and about 3.6-3.7 unweighted. I really want to get into University of Chicago because of my interest in the literary arts, law and pre-med. I'm undecided at the moment but I know those are the fields in which I would be interested in. How do I stand and what improvments would you suggest, I really am trying to do only the things I love and am interested in like I love my job, and the activities I do, but I also want what I have accomblished to sound impressive. Any review of this would be great

Quality over quantity. If you're genuinely satisfied with all of your current activities and can't think of anything else you want to be doing, then don't worry about adding more; just concentrate on taking leadership roles with the groups you're already involved in.

Looks good to me, but if you are going to pursue pre-med you better start volunteering at a hospital. If you want to pursue law, maybe consider trying to work for a lawyer a few times a week. Experience and recommendations are extremely important.
