applying for pier 1 imports job?

i need another job and i saw that pier 1 imports is hiring for seasonal...which is perfect. anyways, i already work at hollister but i get like 1 shift a week, if i even get that and with holidays coming and all. i need a job i can actually do. so...what do i wear? i dont have slacks or black pants and im not to keen on wearing them anyway, but i have nice jeans, an Express shimmer grey fitted sweater and black heels? sound good? im pretty upbeat and i've worked in retail for 2 years, so i have good customer serivice (i think i do) but is there anything else i should know about picking up an application? do they do interviews right away or do you come back?? thats a lot of questions! anything will help. thanks sure 'cooldad', when i finally finish college and stop taking 20 credits a semester, ill think about it. right now i just need money okay...

I don't think wearing jeans to an interview is a good idea!! My friend used to manage a Pier one and they were pretty strict on what she could wear. You could bring in a resume and ask if the manager is working...they would probably like that. Good luck

just make sure they give you righteous breaks according to law. I was in a class lawsuit which sued pier 1 for illegally denying workers of their breaks. we won! i worked for pier 1 in 1995
