i need advice regarding video game career?

I'm 26 and i'm planning to move to canada to start a career in the video game industry. Video game is my passion. I play a lot and know a lot about games in general. Now I have a bachelor degree in administration, been working for five years in this field and i'm fed up, tired of it. So i want to change but my family thinks it's a really bad idea. I have 2 brothers living in canada and they told that i'll end up driving a taxi or selling at the grocery store because i'm already too old. I'll be 30 something after 4 years in computer science with a major in video game development. Is it really too old?? My brothers also said that most companies hire only younger people. Should i listen to them and get master degree in administration ( i don't really like the idea) or take the risk and follow my passion???

Your never to old to learn! Your 26, you are still young! You will need to get a degree or a certificate in the area that you wish to get a job in. The gaming market is crying out for employees with the right skills.
