Would one get paid reletively the same 4 working for a union of a new company as the one they work for before?

So my boyfriend lives in Ohio making say $15/hr for a union that makes glass. He wants to get a new job in Michigan which means he will have to work for a different union company. Since he is experienced, will he paid fairly the same if he says in the same field? PLease give me good sources on where I can find legitimate information on this. Thanks.

Union pay scales vary union to union, but most likely it will be around the same rate
