I graduate in May 2009 with a BS in accounting? What should my next step be?
I want to get an accounting job with my degree, but I have no experience. I work full time now, so it would be difficult to get an internship. What steps should I take now to increase the chances of me landing a good job in accounting?

Pretty much every business needs accountants, so you might not have as much trouble as you think in finding a job. Otherwise, look for jobs that could help you learn the ropes of your career- not necessarily an accountant right off the bat, but maybe a bank teller, etc? You can start to be an accounting clerk for awhile and work there for a number of years before becoming the accountant.
