What's better? Weapons Engineer for huge civilian company, or Development Engineer for Air Force?
I need to work on equipment for the military. I want to join the military and at least serve my time, and I already have the degree to do it, but I need to finish losing some weight and get in shape, no problem. However, what's better to join the Air Force and go for Developmental Engineer position (OTS) or just apply for a electronic engineering job in a local military company (BAE Systems)? Thanks for any feedback and opinions.

Well, one thing to consider is the retirement benefits that the Air Force has to offer. The sooner you join, the sooner you can retire, so I'd go ahead and try to get in asap. The AF is especially good if you have dependents to worry about, health care wise and what not.
