Will Dish Network hire someone with a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct?

I applied to install dish network.The application asks if i have ever been convicted of a misdemeanor.Am I safe to assume that a misdemeanor will prevent me from getting the job?

Not necessarily but if you lie you will definitely not get the job.

I think it all depends on the position they are looking for, With a big company like that they wont be to desperate for employees so if they dislike this or feel it will affect there business they probably wont hire you but it doesn't hurt to give it a shot.

It Depends on the seriousness of the misdemeanor usually during the interview they will ask you about this and talk to there supervisor about your answer if you can get the interviewer to understand your side there is a chance you get through

Hopefully they will give you a chance to explain yourelf but they shouldn't hold a misdemeanor against you. I don't even think you have to put misdemeanors on your application. I thought they were only concerned with felonies.
