Why do we keep giving money to big corporations when they are failing?

And if we are gonna give money to them why dont we expect anything back from them? Why cant we give 700 billion to Ford and ask them to build an electronic car for every american family to have? Wouldnt this be excellent for the economy? Also for our dependence on Foreign oil, as well as for the environment? Wouldnt this stimulate the economy positively?

We need to bail them out to save the economy from further slide. If we didn't bailed out Auto Sector over 2 million jobs will be lost and US will be in depression. Your idea does not make much sense. Even If Ford comes up with Electric Car there aren't any customers for them. And these cars will be even more expansive... More

Electric cars are hard to recharge and would cost more for the society conversion to have power plants available. They do not work that well after the batteries are used excessively, causing high price repair bills. If the US doesn't buy Foreign oil, these countries will not buy US goods. Besides Foreign oil cost less... More
