Are the unicorns your favorite part of the bible?

Here's an example: Isaiah 34:7 And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. Blatant mythology anyone?

Some people claim the Bible is a book of fairy tales because it mentions unicorns. However, the biblical unicorn was a real animal, not an imaginary creature. The Bible refers to the unicorn in the context of familiar animals, such as peacocks, lambs, lions, bullocks, goats, donkeys, horses, dogs, eagles, and calves (... More

I must admit to a sense of loss at the unicorn's demise before I arrived on this planet. But no, it is not my favorite part of the Bible. That would be the part where Jesus paid the price for my sin so I could get back home! Hallelujah!

Isaiah 34:7 And the wild oxen will fall with them, the bull calves and the great bulls. Their land will be drenched with blood, and the dust will be soaked with fat. Two different translations- but we should still be able to find unicorn fossils... we can't... anywhere.

The Hebrew word is actually "wild ox or bull" which was mistranslated as "Unicorn" in the English. 7214 r'em reh-ame' or rieym {reh-ame'}; or reym {rame}; or rem {rame}; from 'ra'am' (7213); a wild bull (from its conspicuousness):--unicorn.

I kind of like the parts about satyrs, dragons, and talking animals too.

Newer translations refer to them as oxen: 7 The wild oxen shall come down with them, And the young bulls with the mighty bulls; Their land shall be soaked with blood, And their dust saturated with fatness.” (NKJV)
