Teachers; how would you describe your induction in your new job, and what would you like to change as a result?

I am currently reading up on the experiences of newly hired teachers good or bad. I would also like suggestions on how to fix problems experienced. I am creating a booklet for administrator to use in their building.How to treat and support new teachers.

I was used like a slave for a year then kicked out. I had only token gestures towards induction and just had to sign a bunch of papers before I left to look like it had been done properly.

I was treated very nicely the first day by the Principal...she was gracious and giving. Then day number 2 hit and she barely acknowledged me, and even ignored me when I said "Hello" in the hallway.
