How do you get a job at a Chanel or Dior boutique?

I've always wondered because it seems too easy just to walk in and ask for an application. I've tried looking on the websites but on Chanel they didn't have any for Las Vegas and I couldn't find a career or job opportunity section on Dior's site. If anyone knows or has had a job at any high end boutique like that please let me know how you got the job. Thanks!

To be honest, they are VERY picky. Not only do you have to be 'pretty', you have to have a 'look'. You basically have to look just as good as the models in the adverts... More

You um ... Apply? Or drop off a resume? Most places usually only hire when they are actually hiring. So look out for that.

They normally have a head office or recruitment office somewhere. I suggest be confident enough to walk to the boutique ask for the manager and talk to her/him personally about your interest in applying for the job. It's easy. First off, do you know someone who already works there, or at a branch store? If so, find out how they got hired. And definitely use them as a reference if you're on good terms... More
