What happens if a police officer doesnt show up for court if he is being sued for child support?
He didnt show up at our last hearing. He was aware of the court date. Now I recently had him served again. Now what will happen this time if he dont show up. He is NYPD officer

Probably the same thing that would happen to anyone else. But if they garnish his wages, He will probably lose his job.

No one can be sued for child support..this is a private matter between two parents..regardless of what the job position is. Let the judge to his job by dealing with the other parent and let this be settle in court..no here at Yahoo answers
