I am an Electrician and yes I am happy with my chosen profession, like anything there are good jobs and bad jobs, but overall as a career choice I enjoy it. it depends on who you ask. not all people are happy in their chosen Fields and it shows in the work they produce.

I am very happy being an electrician. There is a different problem everyday to fix. Being in the trade you also learn different trades also. It could be fixing walls because we love to make holes or heating like wiring boilers to air condition. Control work is one of my favorite. I would try it out. You will like it. O... More

being an electrician is a broad field, there is residential wiring, commercial wiring, industrial maintenance and hi-voltage lineman.... many opportunities exist and it is a skill you can take anywhere. i love it
