Should I invest in my company?

I currently work for a bank and they offer a stock plan, do you think is a good idea. The bank is Webster Bank in Connecticut

Probably not. It depends on the plan, is it stock options? Even so look at the strength of the bank first rather than at any discounts or tax savings.

Keep your investment in employer stock to less than 5% of your total investment portfolio. Never concentrate in any one stock.

You are already investing your whole career into this company, are you sure you want to invest all your savings into it as well. If it fails, you loose both your job and your savings. You should diversify instead.
