What kind of chemical poisoning can make your fingertips numb?
My boyfriend is a chemist and he works in a lab with a bunch of morons. They are constantly leaving out formaldehyde, acids, lead and such. He goes for metal testing throught the company doctor-- but nothing has turned up--but he admitted last night that his fingertips have been going numb (and he has been losing a lot of hair). what chemical can do that?

He should see a GP (i know how hard it is to get a man to see a Dr) it might not be related to chemical's. Numbness can be linked to a problem with the nervous system. Stress is also a common reason for your hair to fall out & can cause pins & needles in your fingers and toes.
