Should i quite my job as a Patient Care Tech to go back to school to become a Radiologic Technologist?
I am a patient care technician and was wondering would it be best for me to quite my job as a P.C.T and move back in my parents for 2 years so I can go back to school and become a Radiologic Technologist?

Be careful with this! In lots of areas, the job market for Rad Techs is saturated...heavily! The schools are pumping out huge numbers of graduates, but there are so few spots. Do your homework and make sure that there will be a demand for Rad Techs when you graduate. You can ALWAYS find a job as a PCT! Good luck.

YES I am a MRI tech and going to x ray school was the best thing I ever did for my life, I have always had a job and make good money. PET CT is in high demand, you need xray school and an extra year of nuclear medicine school, If you do that you will be in 3 years makings over 45 dollars an hour.
