The answer is simple. Both are great. It depends where your interest and abilities lay. If you enjoy it and are good at it, that is the field to go into.

I think electrical engineering is the better choice for you will have many more occupations from which to choose. It's more difficult than mechanical as there's more theory vs hands-on concepts, and also with a undergrad in EE, you have many more graduate studies for which you can qualify to be a candidate.
