Is now a good time to look for a job, or do you think all the holiday jobs are filled?

I am interested in getting work to help out my family with bills and keep steady employment. But since it's already Christmas season should I wait until after New Year's or what? I have no almost no experience except two, sorry cashier jobs that lasted for 1 month each. But I want to be a server or waitress. This is a serious question, so no spammers. Like do you even get paid to spam. Get a life.
