How do you get a pharmacuetical sales job?

Most people say you almost have to be female and good looking. I am a male. I have a business degree, excellent grades, and four years of sales experience with 3 top salesperson for the year awards. However, my experience is in the auto industry. I could probably outsell half of the people who aleady sell pharmaceuticals, but I can't even get an interview. Any advice?

Do your homework and you will discover that many pharma companies have either just laid off employees or are about to. In addition, very few pharma companies are hiring.
