Is cable Television or Dish Network the best?

I am considering getting Dish Network installed in my home this Friday. I currently have Cable with Time Warner. Just looking for opinions from people who have dish. Have you had good luck with it, is it better than cable in your opinion?

Its all about how good your installation is. They are both good as long as the tech takes the time to do a good job. Ofc, dish and direct tv basically hire out people to do there installs, and the techs doing them have to buy all there supplies (cable/fittings/etc) making it less likely they will do a good job.

I had Dish Network installed. It only worked when the technician was here. Nobody would talk to me except the answering machine, so I got satellite TV through my phone company, Verizon. I don't get a huge selection of channels, but I could only get one channel here with my rabbit ears.

i think that direcTV is the best. it has the most HD channels too... if you use them, its totally worth it!
