When Conservatives blame Liberals for waiting for Government to solve their problems?
.. isn't this just code for "leave us alone so we can continue to use corruption and insider teamwork to manipulate profitibility for the few at the expense of the rest- keep the government out of our fraud because I want mine!"?

I don't think most conservatives think that way. They honestly believe that the "capitalist free market" will always take care of them. When times are good, it does. But unfortunately, many capitalists do think the way you say, and they only get caught when the economy suddenly heads south. Their greed screws it up... More

The Democrats in congress are way more corrupt than the GOP. Look at Barney Frank and Chris Dodd - they win the prize.

What you describe is a typical Democrat practice, open your eyes and check it out. Go see who's getting rich, you'll find more Democrats at the top of the list than anyone else.

You're right (sarcastic) No democrat has ever been accused of corruption. My state of Illinois is very corrupt and democrats control this state with an iron fist.

Pure hypocrisy, too. Ironic, as well, that when Wall Street cries, government races to the rescue. When Main Street is ailing, the conservatives (mainly the Bush administration and Paulson) loudly yell, "We live in an ownership society, and you're on your own".
