My friend wants to do stock trading and he has been researching on it. But my question is, is it a good job? ?

can you do it as a career or just as a side thing while you hold something stable. I would like to know all they is to know about this career. please help?

if you really good at it, but most people failed. if you want to trade stock for fun, just couple of hundred or thousand dollars, open an online trading with low commision fee. I would suggest that your friend only do it as a side thing for now. Day trading requires equipment that is constantly updated with current prices and day trading would require a good amount of capital to do well. Tell your friend to not quit his day job, but if he can invest some for the long term.
