Would you ever go to University for 5 to 7 years (and get a PhD) to be a Counselling Psychologist?
I've been thinking about going to University to get my PhD in Psychologist, and then getting a job as a counselling psychologist. Do you think it is worth enduring five to seven years of school to do this? Would you do it yourself? Have you done it?

It will totally be worth it, but I think that it will take 7 or 8 years def not 5 to get a PHD unless you are very speedy. It is worth it monetarily because psychologists with a PHD make on average around $80,000 per year while psychs with a BS make only like $45,000.
