Why the hell are all the science jobs paying so little salary?

Even if you don't have or do have your degree, it seems every company is throwing peanuts at "science" jobs. Not packing boxes or cash register or telemarketing but dealing with testing, analysis, documentation, using scientific tools and knowledge you learned or the company trains for. Ridiculous, even the medical jobs.

Welcome to what happens when the industry gets flooded... It happened to IT too, desktop techs are a dime a dozen, now lab techs and the sort are too. Everyone wants to be Jacques Cousteau, end up collecting water samples or sitting in front of test tubes with pipettes.

i know what you means, blame all the immagrants cooming into the country and getting whatever they want for free. demmanding jobs, and then demmanind bigger pay. and of course, because they are foreign the government gives them exactly what they want

It is somewhat true. But if you do not build a resume showing experience then you are a beginner and a risk. But take a low paying job and work it, after few months put out feelers for what jobs are open and at what salaries. Your reception will be different... More
