Question about automotive and heavy duty schooling?
Ok so i want to become a mechanic but i was also thinking of going into heavy duty repairing transport trucks and buses. If i go heavy duty will i be able to fix and do car inspections on smaller vehicles too or is it going to be a completely different thing. Thank you and I hope you can help me :)

I can't see any reason why a heavy duty mechanic would have any difficulty working on smaller vehicles or cars but, a couple of things come to mind. Just about all heavy duty vehicles are diesel engined while cars are petrol and these days I think the name, Automotive Technician is the title used for a motor mechanic... More
