What is it like to be a Marine Corps officer? *Experienced Marines only*?

I'm about to get out of high school and I am trying to make the decision of whether to enlist in the Marine corps, or go to college and do either PLC or NROTC in order to become an officer. I am leaning towards becoming an officer though. What are the pros and cons of being an officer vs. being enlisted? As an officer do you serve for the same amount of time as an enlisted Marine? What's the overall difference?
