How do you password protect a document?

I do not have Microsoft Word. I have a different program similar to it but it is called Microsoft Works Word Processor. How do I password protect a document on there? When i File>Save As i dont see a ''security button''. Thank you.

There's no built-in method of locking a document access or edit in MS Works as there is for MS Word... More

I am a security conscious person and as far as security of my important documents is concerned I prefer Folder Lock.Its a file Locking program,Its stealth mode feature is good in short its a good security software,try it here if you like to,
