What kind of career would you recommend?

My subject choices for Year 12 are: ~ Extension English ~ Advanced English ~ Extension Maths ~ Advanced Maths ~ Physics ~ Engineering Studies ~ Music (but this is just a hobby for me) My interests include space(astronomy), thinking, logic problems, organising stuff, computers, reading and researching. My fave subjects are Maths, Physics and Engineering. Based on this, is there anything that involves and ultilises my interests/aptitudes in a career path?

Unfortunately, North America is going into a financial crisis and it will just keep getting worse. You want a solid job where you are unlikely to be laid off. The medical field is a pretty safe bet. So becoming a LPN, a RN, or a Doctor would be a safer decision than most other careers.

I would say Acturial studies or a double degree in Engineering/ commerce. Depends on how high your UAI is. But you must be talented if you chose all those challenging subjects. Good luck in your HSC.

Industrial Engineering will be your best bet with your stated electives and interests. They can utilize your passion there.
