I had realized something a couple minutes ago about the moon landing?

Why do people say it was a hoax, you see pictures and the reflections of there helmets show nothing but the picture taker. And people say that the foot prints cant be made cause there is no moisture and that there is a vacuum, how come when we look at it, there are meteor craters that are created that are basically the same thing? Why do people think its a hoax?

The SIX manned moon landings weren't faked. 400,000 people were involved in making the Apollo 11 moon landing happen. The Apollo Moon landings were among the most completely documented and observed events in history. The conspiracy "theories" that claim otherwise are a bunch of nonsense without even a single compelling... More

People want to make a conspiracy out of everything these days. They also said it couldn't be real because the flag was waving.

I know that some Christians think it's a hoax (I'm on the Religion and Spirituality section a lot) because they feel that somehow, landing on the moon is a threat to God (some science vs. divine power debate). I dunno. Maybe some people just think it's impossible.

It's sensationalism. Believing that the moon landings were some secret government conspiracy is a whole lot more dramatic than accepting the reality. People need drama in their lives and this gives it to them. The next person I hear claiming that the flag was blowing in the wind is going to get a poke in the eye.

Because they refuse to embrace reality and cannot except that they may be wrong. The US flag is on the moon. Get a telescope and find it. Good luck though.

those people are more than ignorant. as for the craters, these are much more substantial leaving significant damage to their point of impact

It's mostly uneducated people who trade stories like this. One of the "proofs" these people cite is the "flag waving in the wind." However, the flag wasn't waving in the wind. The flag was supported by a horizontal cross beam because NASA wanted the flag to be more prominent, rather than just hanging limp. I'd... More

No one thinks the landings were a hoax. Even those who claim they were a hoax know the landings were real. They just can't stand that the landings were done by America.
