Should I just pay off my loans after I become a nurse or do something else?
I joined the national guard a week ago and will be leaving at the end of April. I am going to college right now and the money that they offered me did play a role in me joining. There is an urge for me to serve and be in the military but I am wondering if it is really worth it? Yeah, I have all of these loans right now but will it really be a big problem paying $60,000 in loans over a period of 30 years as a nurse. Plus I want to eventually get a masters in nurse anesthesia. The national guard could prevent this from happening if I get deployed to Afghanistan during nursing school or Nurse anesthesia school. So my question is...how hard is it to pay off a pretty significant amount of loans as a nurse? I chose the Higher Education category because I figured there would be people here who have gone through the process of paying loans with a good job.. Thanks
