How does one go about becoming a recruiter?

I'm just curious about how you'd go about becoming a recruiter. What job would you have to study for, what schooling would you have to have? If it makes any difference, I'm particularly curious about the Air Force. I know you have to be in the military to be a recruiter..

You have to be at least in E-4 in the Air Force before you can apply to become a recruiter. The Air Force is the only branch that has a %100 volunteer recruiting force. You have to submit a package with performance reports, letters of recommendation, as well as a current fitness test. You then do a telephone or a... More

They will send you to school for that and give you all the training you need it's not an easy job lots of Pressure but with the economy in the dump it tends to be easier once it picks up and there's jobs it's hard and yes you need to be an E5 or higher

First you have to belong to that service. After that you either volunteer or get chosen. Air Force Recruiting is the easiest from what I understand. Marine Corps Recruiting will make or break you.....
