Raleigh or Charlotte? Which NC city is better?

Overall. Does Raleigh have good jobs in the technology field?

Raleigh > Charlotte. The Triangle area is one of the fastest growing areas in the US and there's lots to do. Each part of the Triangle has its own feel, the housing market is better, cost of living's a bit lower, the population's a bit more diverse. i live in nc and id have to say raleigh. charlotte has SO much crime, its unbelievable.

I think either is a great choice. Charlotte is a huge banking and insurance industry, and they have plenty of jobs there. The environment is also great, they are doing a lot of building up around there. P.S. There is crime EVERYWHERE

I live close to Charlotte (about an hour west), but honestly I like Raleigh better. I've visited a few times, it seems like there's more giong on and more to do. Also, I thought the roads were better around Raleigh. Charlotte traffic is AWFUL.

Charlotte, I think its better, but you might disagree. Raleigh has jobs, but Charlotte has twice as many jobs. Raleigh has the largest Research Park in the state, Charlotte has the 2nd largest. Go with Charlotte.
