how far can a average person run?

I am just curious in knowing how far a person can run. The top speed of an average runner is about 16 km/h though i might be wrong. how long can they maintain this speed. also how fast should an average person run/job in 30 mins, without stopping. answers in km/h please, though i could convert it if you don't know it in km/h I think you were a little rough Jeff, there are definently fit kids in America. I'm fit I exersize everyday, go jogging every other day, and eat healthy, I'm 18 year old male. Doesn't matter which country you come from all humans are built the same. I'm talking average normal person, didn't think average was a tough word to figure out. how about male and female, and 20 years of age.
