Does Henry Ford's statement: "History is bunk",apply to today's common understanding of German Fascism ?

http://www.randomhouse.com/doubleday/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780385511841: Contrary to what most people think, the Nazis were ardent socialists (hence the term “National socialism”). They believed in free health care and guaranteed jobs. They confiscated inherited wealth and spent vast sums on public education. They purged the church from public policy, promoted a new form of pagan spirituality, and inserted the authority of the state into every nook and cranny of daily life. The Nazis declared war on smoking, supported abortion, euthanasia, and gun control. They loathed the free market, provided generous pensions for the elderly, and maintained a strict racial quota system in their universities—where campus speech codes were all the rage. The Nazis led the world in organic farming and alternative medicine. Hitler was a strict vegetarian, and Himmler was an animal rights activist. http://www.randomhouse.com/doubleday/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780385511841 Jack, The point is that today's common perception of German Nazism is simply wrong( I really think the question makes that clear),Today's perception is selective and highly distorted and has been since WW2.Some of the idiot replies even to this question illustrate why.The extract above is from the Book "Liberal Fascism" Written by a Jewish author. Academic replies may be helped by the link which I repeat below because the first attempt failed. http://www.randomhouse.com/doubleday/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780385511841 Elizabeth, Because you did not open the link you completely misunderstand the question and risk categorising yourself with idiots like vambo and others. This is a highly academic history book by:JONAH GOLDBERG a JEWISH columnist for the Los Angeles Times and contributing editor to National Review. A USA Today contributor and former columnist for the Times of London, he has also written for The New Yorker, Commentary, the Wall Street Journal. Elizabeth, Germany, fascism "appeared as "genocidal racist nationalism."It is the "appeared as " bit you should study a little more The first paragraph above is public information facts about the Nazis, I find it interesting that one is not allowed to mention them; however we can talk about anything which is bad . We can talk about gigantic exaggerations about Nazi Germany from questionable sources, that is also OK. My interest is facts not mind conditioning, I strongly suspect that the common preception of Nazi Germany is super bunk.

Sure the whole thing is a no no question and that is why people have a distorted idea of German fascism. The abusive replies ( vambo is an idiot)show why.
