What is the best method for finding a job in another city?

I am moving to Albuquerque, NM, in 6 weeks and would definitely like to have a job lined up and ready to begin as soon as I arrive. I've been going through the internet job sites (Monster, Career Builder, etc.) but of course all the postings need to be filled sooner that my 6 week time frame. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am in the customer service/ retail field.
